The authority says it is "concerned" that the present colour vision requirements may be inappropriate for pilot tasks that have emerged since current tests were introduced. I have protanomalous vision, which means I have difficulty distiguishing red. I won't pass an Ishihara colour-card test, so to say the least I am very interested to know if this might mean I actually have a shot at getting a class I medical after all.
