Having returned myself from the the wonderful aludied for the 6th time,
I know that the movers do their best with what they have and they should shoulder no blame for the set up in Qatar. As a regular visitor to sunny BAS I can see a quick and easy solution to the 'Air Terminal' situation at Al Udied, remove the excess of Land Rover Discovery 3 series from the Major/Wing Co/Comm and above chaps as they only cover 3 miles a day from the 'Lines' to work if you go to the mess 3 times a day. Use the trade-in against standard land rovers to fund a hard building of the terminal at Al Udied. If the Generals/Air Rank and Admirals actually pay more than lip service to the issue of moral in the modern forces of the crown this should be a relatively quick fix and reduce the negative aspect to travel too and from the gulf. My opinion only and feel free to pull it apart.
