Since it seems to be in vogue at the moment,
Come one, Come all as we proudly announce the entry of a new domestic airline in Australia. Using an iconic name and drawing on the love of millions of Australians, Ansett Global Golden Star Princess Airlines of Australia Pty Limited trading as Ansett Airlines Global Services will fly a fleet of 25 Dash 8's, 15 Fokker F28's, 52 Boeing 737-800s, 11 Airbus 320's and (for old times sake) a single Boeing 747.
All planes will be fitted out in a three class configuration. Gold, Silver and Plebian. As a world first the Gold class passengers will be seated at the back of the plane. We have followed this path as after extensive research and enquiry we have found that planes do not reverse into mountains. We have concluded that our higher fare paying passengers are the ones who we would prefer to see again. Plebian class passengers get a free will kit with every ticket.
We don't yet know where we will be based or where we will fly to but our European investor who is extremely rich tells us that we have to get there by flying. This will make the operational aspect of the airline a bit more problematic but we are confident we will have an Air Operations Certification by Wednesday of next week. Timetables will be available from Thursday afternoon.
We also are proud to announce that we have a chief pilot. We haven't met him yet but he assures us that he is up to the task. Sunfish, could you please confirm your availability.
