I flew from this airfield back in 2003, its 2 miles north of the international. I am going to Bratislava on business on the 7th September and the problem is i heard a rumour that this field is now closed, anyone know for sure? Its still possible to see it on Google Earth, but i am not sure how old these images are? I remember the pilot i flew with said he flew an AN2 to WhiteWaltham, so any one there know what the current situation is? I would like to get some time in whilst ther, it was about £25.oo/hr in a Zlin 242 last time
