I believe he is ordering B738's with all the reclining gear taken out of the seats, fixed upright, and no window blinds. All that extra weight saved, cuts the fuel burnB
Don't know about the window blinds but I travelled on what looked like a shiny newish 738 from Ancona on Sunday and sure enough no reclining seat!
The National Express coach from Stanstead had very comfortable reclining seats by comparison although on a per mile basis Ryanair's fare was half that of NC!
