You are quite correque about the offer with SQ. The 11k was divided up into all manner of alowances etc
When I asked would I receive more training eg 777 course I got the classic Singapore emotionless blank look. Which means Don't know or I dont want to tell you bad news. Either way I looked at it SQ were not offering a career opertunity and no where near enough cash to be mercenary. Which was a 2 year contract max.

Find another vocation, many of the ex SQ LAEs tell me they had a mock set of goal posts hanging on the ready room wall, which they moved aound the room everytime management changed the something which affected your earnings without consultation.
EG the new roster which has just been brought in, more time at work same pay and no overtime to suppliment your income.
