Getting the special licence was relatively easy but there are also new rules requiring security cleared ID's for PPl's using some of the larger airports and these take longer to get hold of and involve a police report. So dependent upon where you are going - to/from you might be just as well taking an instructor and flying as P2 to reduce the cost and hassle overall
