As you probably know you will only need your FAA licence if flying out of the UK. I presume you will need an export C of A and you will need a Trust set up for it's ownership if you are not a US resident. The FAA web site will have the answers (it is 100 times better than the CAA one). Try here somewhere

The 'DfT threat' has gone quiet but will always be around. That is until they sort themselves out and tackle the root causes of people going the N reg route.
