I also believe that you may charge your 'student' anything up to half of the price of the cost of that flight under CAA regulations
This implies that the instructor would be paying for half the aircraft cost!
AFAIK there is no problem with the student paying for all the
aircraft costs but the instructor cannot charge for the instructing element if he only has a PPL (not sure about expenses though).
