Back in the nineties I did a couple of Abu Dhabi to Perth services direct at just under 5000 nautical miles we used to restrict the pax load to around 300 all economy though the aircraft was configured for 328 pax.We also had to carry remote holding fuel for Perth around 11 tonnes if I remember.Hopefully that gives some idea of the range capability of the aircraft.My company fits a bunk module at the front of our aircraft for Hajj operations,never used it myself but apparently far from perfect,much better than nothing.WE dropped the AUH-PER and went back to routing via SIN after one season as it was deemed not commercially viable.
