Well I wish you all the very best of British, and if you are prepared to accept another branch other than pilot then there are plenty of great opportunities out there!
It seems no matter what branch you opt for these days, at some stage or another you will be involved in Project Management type work. Sometimes not the most exciting thing in the world, but the qualifications are out there to net you £600+/day as a contractor should you decide that you have done your bit for the air force.
And that's the sort of money to be able to afford some real fun flying!
