i was A tech A remustered to AEOp in 1983 and then to pilot in 1987. I know it was a long time ago but I too was told I had not ammortised my training costs and would have to wait!! I fought it and with help of wise boss on 206 sqn was allowed to go to Cranwell...Extra years as pilot more value than waiting dissapointed in Scotland! Left 7 years ago enjoying beaches with airline now. If you want airline career leave now and join a training college. If you want great flying great pals and lots of secondary duties stay. My advice aim high, people who you look up to now may one day be your students!!! You can do it.. PS was 27
