Dash 8 engine failure going into Melbourne a few months back - pax could hardly care less. Some went back to sleep!
I remember shutting one down in a 300 on the way back from CB a couple of years ago. We had exactly the same response from the cabin
. The only notable exception being a former Leader of the Opposition that decided to shake my hand and thank me profusely in front of a full cabin. Still trying to work out why?
