Meteor are responsible for policing the staff car park at STN but I don't think I've ever seen anyone going around checking cars. I've only seen two cars clamped in the car park in the last couple of years but there was one clamped out the front of Enterprise House, in the 30mins max parking, a month ago.
The 36 hour rule is pretty un-enforceable due to the varied types of hours/duties of staff. The only way to catch someone "holiday parking" is for them to be reported or be caught with the holiday luggage. There is an obvious way around it though.
I fly longhaul so my car has been there in excess of 7 days on occasions and I know I and my boss would be p1ssed if our cars were clamped.
I did have a Ryanair Captain tailgate me through the barrier without swiping and when I asked to see his ID, he didn't have a STN car park pass, so he wasn't allowed in there anyway!

Which STN based airlines don't pay for staff parking? I think GO used to make crews pay for it themselves. Anybody?
