about retaining senior pilots. Jobs may be slightly easier to obtain than a few years ago, but how does that help the people that already have a job? I really, really, really hope this changes, but like I said, I will believe it when I see it.

So the pilots were STILL the lowest paid group on Rio Tinto's payroll? (speculation) I would hazard a guess to say that the cleaners probably earn more than that.
62k is not a lot of money these days.
