re; shift pay, unfortunately it does state the newer courses will not receive it at the units until validation....small consolation pay does jump from 10k to 18k on completion at the college (approx 9months).
Have to agree harsh not receiving some form of shift allowance as training at units will consist working weekends/bank holidays/nights.
Semifinalist- most banks require uk residency for loans. Not said where you from but have you tried local banks. Also if you wish to defer talk to HR.... some people defer due employment reasons or other personal reasons, they may be flexible(HR flexible?
