The Dubai hotel doubles as a brothel for mostly Arab guests. Some of cabin crew have told me about being followed by thobe-attired hall-cruisers
. It is internally refered to by crews as "the Psychiatric Hospital," probably the worst of all properties that A-320 crews stay at. The rooms, while clean, have a distinct odor that leaves me with a sore throat by morning wake-up call. It's prime location in front of the Iranian school for boys, as well as being miles away from anything interesting, could leave anybody with a misguided impression of what Dubai really has to offer.
As for the other layover destinations, all nice hotels, with Cochin being the sweetest plum of them all.
