The BBJ's were bought in order to serve routes between America and Europe. The company has however decided not to operate these routes and stick to the European schedules. Therefore its not necessary to have long range aircraft to serve short haul routes. Also asset management considerations are influencing these decisions.. .Its as simple as that............... .I flew one of the BBJ's this morning and still find it an outstanding machine and such a joy to fly. It will be a shame to see them go.
