Satellite Phones

Not sure where to post this question...

I was about to buy a portable satellite phone with a stick-on window antenna to use in helicopters.
It integrates nicely into the "Flightcell" device that connects satphone to headset and headset to coms so it is posible to talk on comms and satphone using same headset.
(Comms is automatically muted when using this device so pilot is not distracted.)

But a pilot said strickly speaking;
1/ A portable sat phone could interefer with NAV aids
2/ Sat phone connected to aircraft comms could interfer with NAV aids.

What do I need to do to comply with aviation law/s using a handheld portable satphone in a helicopter? Is temporary integration into coms using "flightcell" any different from using a portable with its own seperate headset?
