There is a clause in our EBA that states that no L/H crew member will be made redundant as a result of overseas based crew.
If that is the case and the company did not get the required number of VR packages then they cannot make Australian based crew CR while they have overseas based crew.
In other words if they want to make crew redundant then they have to start with overseas based crew first that is until our current EBA has expired.
