Pilot medical before last, my right eye only
just passed uncorrected. I was warned by the DAME that for next time, have a prescription pair of lenses just in case I cant pass uncorrected.
Following (last) pilot medical I did better than the previous one. Didnt need the glasses i went and got. Go figure.
Then for a recent (non flying job) medical exam, the eyes were bad again, i struggled to get through.
Apparently vision fluctuates (more noticeably in those who have marginal visual acuity) with various factors eg. fatigue, health, oxygen level, wearing corrective lenses beforehand etc.
