I may be mistaken, but I understand that the Catholic priest (or his predecessor) on FI uses (or used) VOIP. Long delays, though -- almost need to use radio protocol rather than speaking naturally, over.
People can
use VOIP with a dialup connection, if they can put up with the lower quality.
