Funny thing is, I just cant get a jet job!!
Does anyone know who to target?
Ive already tried the main charter operators and the 'good' low cost operators, but i just cant get a sniff!
Should i join the muppets in the
'I paid for my own type rating' club? I reckon this is becoming the norm nowadays.........Or should i stick where i am and get my command and live with the fact that I'll never be paying for any of my TRs!!
Well I guess i'm one of the muppets you mentioned, I had a command where I was and was very happy, now i'm flying a brand new Airbus and clear the best part of £3000 after tax. OK I may have earned more working as a Nigel but they didnt offer me a job.
Why did I decide to become a "muppet"
A guarantee of flying a jet, all going well I should be in the left seat in max 3 years.
By that time hopefully you will have the job of your dreams as a Nigel or perhaps flying for a charter, you may even be in the left seat after 6-10 years.
Good luck
