When to leave - my list
Having seen the "10 things I love about Basrah" I thought it might be interesting to see if anyone else thinks like I do. I keep a list of the things that annoy me, or ways our terms and conditions have been eroded. When the list gets too long to be worth my rate of pay, I'll leave.
If I kick off with a few items on my list, why don't we all join in?
1. No more cups of tea in the morning.
2. Can't get a Nav watch for love nor money any more.
3. Ditto flying gloves
4. Ditto long johns
5. PAYD
6. Capped actuals
7. Studies and change initiatives that are brought in before the last one's complete
8. "I will write to the honorable member and place a copy of my letter in the library of the House of Commons"
9. FOI
10. More and more hassle and rules for less and less low-level every year
