My my Nat Jet are having some dramas with the 717 lately. 1 in Cairns (NXB) needs a new donk, RR and Boeing tests to come, and the old (IMD) I think its now (NXI) is missing one engine in perth and basically is being 'rebuilt', 1 option is it should be ditched off fremantle its in that good of shape. Which F*&^%N idiot at Qantas made the decision to send Nat Jet the oldest (except for 2) 717s but yet there are 4 of the newest jets in Brisbane sitting there doing nothing? And don't even mention the spare parts issues, 8 days for an engine replacement apparently! In perth the old 146 (in national jet colours) have been forced to do qantaslink flights as flights have simply been cancelled thanks to the reliability of our new toy.
