well you euro mates should consider it. especially with the GBP being about 1 GBP: 2.3 CAD you boys could run away with paying 50 GBP per hour on a new 172. and most of all we have schools in winnipeg (

http://www.proifr.com ) where you actually train in known ice for your ifr. their twins are done up with "boots" and most students who do their ifr usually walk away with about 5-15 hrs of actual IMC. plus there's plenty of beer, plenty of women and depending on which part of the country your in...plenty to keep you occupied when you're not studying.
