It's inevitable that some kind person will label me naive, etc etc, but it really did feel like the turning point in Channex/Jet2's history of industrial democracy. Congratulations to all concerned - workforce and management - for an excellent & constructive exchange of views - and in particular to several cabin crew members (you'll know who I mean).
And yes, you really did hear it - unless you've agreed to it already, dual basing will be purely voluntary. If you have agreed, the terms may possibly change a little in your favour, difficult to say at this stage.
Sector pay - the meeting was not intended to address this subject, but expect some very minor favourable tweaking in a week or two.
