OK guys I am serious now, I also did charter in the UK and europe, left hand seat widebody and I gave up my job because I thought EK is better.
The money was better 7 years ago but there was no spirit and no fun at all involved, today even the money is bad.
I was first time exposed to a very unfriendly system of checking rather than training (the FOM got it wrong it says rather training than checking) and a reporting culture, in if anybody can screw you up in EK he will ( stafftravel etc).
If I would come again? the answer is NO f*****g way.
