As a DEC, you'll be welcomed with open and enthusiastic arms by all. Even after 10, 000 hours and 3 years at EK, one can always learn more and the F/Os are all thrilled to have newbie Captains to teach us.
It shows what a great Flight Ops department EK has by being so kind as to recruit Captains to help us. I look forward to another 5 years of learning in the right seat. You too can expect to be treated with the same great benevolent kindness from our masters.
As well, you'll find morale at an all time high. We love to work and just can't get enough. Damn Flight Time Duty Limitations. Fortunately, Flight Ops helps here too and finds ways around the laws.
On the layovers, all the crews always come out for a good time. Really, it’s more like family than a company. Can’t you just feel the love?
