When we transfered to the UK base, we were told that we dont work for Qantas but a subsiduary Qantas Uk, why the pay was different and conditions! But when it comes to rest breaks we are not covered by Uk rules but we are a Australian registered aircraft so we are covered by CASA! Can you tell me where it states the time off rest breaks and work rules in these regs!!! NOT!!! They cover how many crew emergency equipment maintance records so on and so on, not what our breaks must be after working a Long range flight like the UK airlines. It is a UK company and work rules should be covered under the British rules, maybe if the JAROPS are taken up by Australia these rules can also be put into the regs! these sort of rules need to be regulated!!!
