it really is time ALL Qantas employees told HR, Public Affairs and "The Comminications Team " (joke) to get stuffed with their use of corporate language.
As I posted earlier -all cabin crew are going to have to get used to HOSTING Y/C pax.....
"Ladies & Gents , I'm your CSM and your host for this evenings supper service is Supervisor Sally !! Come on down Sally and take a bow!"
However the truly gross misuse of language by management morons was displayed today when that goose from HR who calls himself the "head of people" (more like the ar*ehole) described the possible offshoring of thousands of maintenance jobs and the wholesale sacking of hard working Australians as an ....."ENGINEERING TRANSFORMATION".
Language usage such as this treats the Qantas worker with contempt. In response to Brownie's euphemism I could think of some more choice Aussie response from all of us.
I'd rather hear Dixon call a spade a shovel -that is to say--"I've got a big pineapple in my hand and I'm going to shove it right up our maintenance workers' Kyber ...NOW WHERE THE BLOODY HELL ARE THEY?!!"
