ISTR that the QR applies to RAF Officers, though it's a few years since I had hold of QRs!
I also recall afew years ago that the Stn Cdr of a Northumberland Unit where only helos normally land had his own ac (Tiger Moth?). He obtained use of (bought?) the farmer's field next to the hangar and arranged access through the perimeter for himself. I believe he stored his ac in the hangar, but I will stand to be corrected.
