Well it looks like the bird flu has not spared Qf manager types as a sick little birdie has divulged some good dirt (reliable source) The fat cats over in QCC are well aware how spineless the engineer types are when it comes to action and how many are willing to break ranks to better themselves (so they think) when it comes to knives in backs. Full force of IR reform to be implimented by all managers ASAP. Qf willing to wear some employee losses but know this will be minimal (reasons posted here, most will stay for less, especially with non existant carrots dangled). New structure heavily decimate SIT & SDT with resultant combined ex HM and Base to form revolving team based floating roster crews, covering line on reduced day shifts and overnight work on a sqewed heavily night shift oriented roster.
LA 1/2 A checks have been recieved well high up the totem pole, however with local licence coverage soon adequate enough, no more expensive jollies (sorry to those who missed out).
The only sticking point is those on secondment, especially the A380 project, announcement to come soon, some who haven't seen the business end of a spaner or worked a night shift in quite some time may have to earn their shift penalties soon.
