Heard on good authority that an announcement on goverment funding for work on the dual carriageway into the airport is expected this week, and is believed to be positive. Assuming approval is given, work will start 1 June and will be completed in March 2006.
Getting to the airport from the M1 during the period of construction is likely to prove difficult since M1 widening to four lanes also starts next month.
