DDD Many years ago I worked for BMA as it was then. I joined in 1986 and left in 1990 to join BA.
Towards the end I hated the company. I probably hated it because of the management more than anything. Although I was a FSM the workload that was expected from us was huge. Not only having to fly but also having to complete lots of paperwork whilst on ground duties.
However having said all of that I am also thankful to BMA for giving me a start in the industry when a lot of airlines turned me down.
I think if you go into the company with a open mind and with a view to doing it for a couple of years in order to gain experience you will then decide if its for you long term or maybe with that experience under your belt move onto another airline like I did.
Good luck with what ever you choose to do but remember BMI has given you a opportunity now.
