I can fill you in very quickly what is happening with the current shorthaul EBA negotiations..... f*ck all.
We have heard NOTHING regarding what we are even neg for. Oh...apart from the fact that they are offering us a heap of perm part-time positions. What a carrot to dangle. And you know what....i'll give you a hint on whats about to happen....
They will offer us a crap EBA (FAAA saying it's the best we can do blah blah) and a whole bunch of the mothers club will vote for it because they only get their part-time if the EBA gets through, otherwise back to the 8year waiting list. And hey...they dont have to do the Mumbai's that we will get lumbered with because they are senior enough to bid around them.
Oh yeah, and when they get this EBA through they will all go part-time and who will replace them flying?? MAM casuals. Great...soon they will outnumber the fulltimers.
