As a mainline Baer the sad facts are that the company cares very little about the numbers sitting at home on full pay and allowances. Bear in mind there are a couple of hundred still at LHR alone from various areas doing nothing at costs well in excess of £2000 a month. For example a number of the terminal Duty managers were outed the tail end of last year and fill their time attending courses that are of little interest. That said having been on GL myself it is not a particularly happy time for many. I hope it turns out as well as it can.
