It would appear from today's news about AN MK 2 that any deal with Flight West and AN MK 2 is a big "IF".

Mac air already have the Saab 340 so they would not need the EMB 120's that Flight West operate. They may have a use for the F100's for their minning runs and perharps for use somewhere within the Qantas network.

What company is selling the Flight West aircraft, Aeromil, who do Aeromil own, Susnhine Express, who do Sunshine Express now have an alliance with, Qantas. So what about this. The Sunshine Express and Flight West operations are merged into one operation and continue to operate with Qantas. I'm sure Qantas could make good use of the F100's and the EMB 120's. The F100's could return to NFI and perharps routes in North QLD and the NT. The EMB 120's could be used to replace the B1900s (The EMB 120 have very similar operating costs to the 1900's and are cheaper than the Dash 8)
