I am an 89'r.. .. .As far as I understand it, once the AFAP declared defeat and told us all to apply for our old jobs, then that is the point when "Labels" could stop being applied to people who took jobs with Ansett.. .. .That was 1990.. .. .At the time, several people got back into Ansett within days. These returns were considered "unseemly" or "questionable" because most of us thought there would have to be process underway before the deadline in order to be so quick off the mark.. .. .However, 1993 is a mystery to me. Anyone who joined Ansett in mid-to-late 1990, 1991, 1992 or 1993 is absolutely OK. Any of them would be welcome to join my airline in Hong Kong.
