Buster Hyman. In hindsight it was a poor management decision by AN/NZ to use mainline services to compete against VQ and DJ.

The AN Air Coach style operation that brought EW to its knees and eventually out of business in the 80's could have been reinstated.

FYI The 4 F28-4000's have been on the market for some time as flyable a/c. VH-FKO (ex Lloyds) in particular is one of the lowest times F28's in the world.

Ansett Aircraft Trading have received numerous enquiries for the aircraft since they were taken out of service.

Unfortunately third world countries do not like to pay for first world aircraft condition and maintenance.

Similar situation with some of the F27's when they were retired.

We have seen both F27's and F28-1000's scrapped in Australia.

I can obtain the F28-4000 times for you if you wish.
