Waking up EVERYBODY at the Madang Resort at sparrows. The Resort was about 200 meters to one side of our take-off path as we passed through 300', at crackle power whether we needed it or not
Our SOPS called for Landing lights ON when the gear was lowered so when we came into Cairns of an evening and maintained 330kts 'till 8 DME on the ILS we would scare the crap out of ATCers, the Stealth Fokker they called us. 250 kts till 10?? pussies!!
Racing a checkie into Port Moresby when we managed to talk the Bros into letting us 'maintain own seperation'. We ended up wing tip to wing tip on 14L & R at 330kts/3000'/10DME/clean and neither wanting to pull the brake first. I blinked and he beat us to the parking apron but we won the foot race to the crew room
