Hello everybody. I would someday like to join an airline, actually, once I finish my year 12 studies I would like to send an application to QANTAS Australia. I am currently studying my Commercial Text Books for General Aviation, as I usually fly with my father in a C172. I have been reading over some threads, and I have heard about "Cadet" pilots joining the airline, and getting all of these large benefits. What is a Cadet pilot anyway? I have read the QANTAS web site, and it kind of leans towards the top applicants receiving Cadetship... and I have heard many people say that Cadets get all the "good" jobs as such.
Could anyone give me more information on this, and also is it even possible to get into QANTAS without a Bacherlor of Aviation from University? Can you get in from just finishing grade 12 at a high level?
