Thats ok, i'm a maintenance engineer (LAE) but don't really get involved in the reliability side of things as our tech services sort through that stuff.
I have heard of the MSG in my past studies but never knew there was a 1,2 and 3!!
I also discovered your abbreviation for SAE but thought that as it wasn't aviation related I was heading down the wrong path.
