C150 and in limbo.
You guys should start your own airline. You really know what you're talking about. You should call it Big Bird Airlines, run by a couple of guys named Earnie and Burt. Look out Clive and Robert!!
You guys crack me up.

In limbo.
"Air Canada was not making any money before the restructuring that just took place."
Wow. There's a revelation. Was there any major airline doing well at that time? Yep, WJ was doing ok as were all the Walmarts. Wouldn't call them a major though. They did pretty good after the perfect storm. For your info Tango fares are still around. The Tango planes were brought back to the original AC livery but Tango still egsists. After 9/11 there was panic in the major airline industry. Our management took the oppurtunity to start an LCC mentality trying to slash our salaries and benefits. The moto was that the traditional model "was broken". Most of us new however that the broken model theory was nothing more than another downturn with greater effects. Sooner or later we would bounce back. Downturns are nothing new to our industry. AC has survived more downturns than C150 can count. We are now flying more passengers than before CCAA. Did we really need CCAA? Let's just say Milton's job was made easier quicker. Scare tactics and all, he won. But so did AC.
I think it's time to stop solving Air Canada's problems and get back to the original topic.
