This is purely speculation as I do not have any evidence whatsoever to back it up. I do however suspect that the aircraft in question may be a well known s*ut owned by an aviation mover and shaker who also lives in the area; JW.
From what I remember inexperienced pilots not working with the airfield owners company used not be able to fly into the airfield in question.
After seeing the picture on the news, I was very happy to see everybody got out alive the pilot must have done a reasonable job.
