Tan, have you been living under a rock? Or are you another brainwashed AC employee?

Air Canada burst on to the scene in the 80s as a brand new private company with NO DEBT and tons of assets.

Through predatory pricing they managed to kill off all of the competition while offering seats at below cost. They continued until they were 12 billion (or more) in debt and bereft of assets at which time the airline industry in Canada was in ruins. Then they emerged from bankruptcy after some restructuring and are starting all over again.

And what exactly happened to that 12 billion? Do you guys ever wonder about that? It was "absorbed" by creditors. Translation, people who chose to do business with AC payed for it.

Great culture you got, it seems to come from the top..
As far as I can tell so far, Westjet pays their bills. They are a good neighbor to Canadian business. Air Canada is poison in contrast and I would recommend COD if you do anything for them.
