Well, I love my AFL too, but I recognise the skills of soccer & cricket. I much prefer a 5 day draw to a one day pyjama party!
I guess the real problem for the Socceroos is that soccer isn't the numero uno in Oz and our best players are never here to learn how to play TOGETHER! FIFA love screwing us around when we try to get 'em here & the european clubs try their best to stop them coming. (In fairness though, they pay big dollars for the players & lose them for weeks. We're just too far away.) Maybe direct entry from Oceania is the go! We will always whip them Tongans!!
