Digging a little further, I've found a picture of the same helicopter hovering above the Louisiana superdome, originally posted by the Associated Press
(weblink now deleted). It had a fairly innocent-looking white EO or IR turret under the rear fuselage and an additional blade antenna under the boom.
Gotta go - a black Crown Vic has just pulled up to my door...
