Screwed up priorities. Memo to business leaders: do not place would-be accountants in charge of making these types of decisions. A good example of a little department making decisions independently of the organisation. Where's the leadership here CASA?

This is a great example of someone in CASA isolated or ignorant of advice of knowledgeable people, who made a decision with not the faintest clue on how these actions impact the industry. The Peter Principle reigns supreme in this case. Geez, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!
