"People Like Us" is a spoof. Perhaps the humour is too subtle for some.
I wonder if there was a backlash from vicars after Roy's "people like us" about them (loved the vicar playing "stairway to heaven" on the church organ !)
Or bank managers after last week's hilarious send up of management appraisal systems, "It's all a load of b****** really..." which was just as lifelike to those of us who have endured it as the struggle to put on the five point harness in a jumpseat without ending up cutting off the blood supply to 75% of the body..
Maybe some poeple were born without a sense of humour...sad.
Anyway I loved the way the ugly Hostie translated her own surname "Churchfield" into French "Eglisechamp" and then talked about sensitively descending onto Paris, so "returnez de votre assiette tout de suite!"
